WHO ARE WE?

GET TO KNOW THE STORY & THE FOUNDERS BEHIND KRUK

It echoes Klook (to stir/mix food) and Krok (mortar), both central to Thai cooking.

We wanted something that sounded real - raw and punchy, but with a twist.

Kruk also plays on the English word ‘crook’ - a nod to London's gritty charm, its edge.

No actual crooks allowed though, just good people and big flavours by hook or kruk

ครุก Kruk might not be the textbook Thai spelling but it feels right.

Two friends from South London making bold moves to shake up the scene. Hospitality runs deep in their veins.

Lived it, breathed it and now building something of their own. Always on the move and levelling up. Bringing their full selves to the table.

ROB

Rob knows his way around the kitchen with over 15 years experience and making his way through London’s food scene. From renowned London spots to a stint in one of Australia’s top restaurants, he’s got an eye for what works.

JOSH

Josh runs the front of house with ease, warmth and serious know-how. A familiar face in South London’s hospitality industry, he’s helped build spaces from scratch and knows how to create a feel good vibe.

Together they’re a duo with flavour, drive and a mission to bring people together through food, energy and a good time.
